Matt Pike is one of the leading proponents of dirty downtuned rock and metal, and he has a new semi-eponymously titled album in the can, which is titled Pike Vs The Automaton. The mighty Swedish outfit Sabaton releases their monumental new album The War To End All Wars on March 4th Via Nuclear Blast. Joakim Brodén was available to discuss the album, the subject matter the band are reluctant to pursue and the group's opinion on covering Nazi Germany in the lyrics.

Andrew Neufeld (Comeback Kid)

Canadian Hardcore heavyweights Comeback Kid released their new album Heavy Steps via Nuclear Blast on Friday. I have lead vocalist Andrew Neufeld on hand to discuss the album, why they covered the Midnight Oil classic "Beds Are Burning" and if he thinks labels and categorisation of bands are relevant today amongst other topics.

Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast)

Finnish Metallers Battle Beast released their pumping new album Circus of Doom on Friday 21st January via Nuclear Blast so it was great to catch up with vocalist Noora Louhimo. The band are on the precipice of something magnificent courtesy of the album, Noora's simply stunning vocal performance is a factor. This conversation covers a heap of ground; the new album, COVID-19, and Noora's thoughts in working with ousted member, and Beast In Black main man, Anton Kabanen.

Tomi Koivusaari (Amorphis)

Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society/ Ozzy Osbourne/ Pride and Glory)

The new album from Black Label Society is out now, and it's called Doom Crew Inc. The album acts as the catalyst for the conversation with Zakk. The 12-track album is both a tribute to the band's "first to bleed, last to leave'' road crew and a salute to the legion whose support, stretching back to 1998, rivals that of the KISS Army. The stomping, heavy, bluesy, recklessly unhinged hard-rock-metal quartet are part invading horde and part travelling carnival - summoning caffeine-fuelled cacophony on records and the stage. of course, we cover a heap of other topics related to Zakk's magnificent career!
